Why not House parties?

COME FOR THE PARTY,
STAY FOR THE NIGHT

Why not House parties?

For some it comes after a month, for some it’s every week and for others, it’s always like that! No, I’m not talking about stress in your life but what you tend to do to undo it. How to not keep yourself in the center of all the worries and the pressure?
Well thats easy peasy.. just socialise more with like minded people. I’m sure you have heard the theory of “You’re The Average Of The Five People You Spend The Most Time With” also that we are the best version of people around us and that’s those 5 people who are around us for most of the time. First, is the guy who we meet in morning, who knows you and will listen to your stories about how challenging it is at the office. Then, our coffee/tea lover-buddy without whom we can’t really head out! Third is our cafeteria buddy, who’s lunch is always tastier than ours. Fourth’s the old friend who is omnipresent through Instagram and Whatsapp and occasionally plans to catch up with you.
Fifth is our family, who supports us, scolds us and loves us unconditionally.
And I’m sure that all of them are great personalities. But you think the theory limits us from meeting more like minded people?
Here comes the point of socialising in a right way! And the clichéd way to socialize is nothing but going to the loudest bars or sharing a good brunch at best of the best cafes. ( ps: the expensive the better)
But hold on! Does it fulfill the initial target? It doesn’t because it’s not “really” the type of socialising you were seeking! You don’t chat with anyone at loud bars and gets to know about the personality of the person, well you just judge and get judged. Looking at the third or fourth person on the table won’t help you make a better decision for choosing what to eat at the brunch. Whereas, getting your hands on to one of the invites to an awesome houseparty might solve the problem you were seeking a solution to. You meet friends of friends or someone from the world. You can have hours of chatting, mingling, do fun activities and simply stay the night in case you feel so. And all of this with a pocket friendly expense.
Next time you feel little not too sure about a house party, try to see on the brighter! After all we millennials are always up for trying something new and not so mainstream!
